A scary night last night. Car packed. A wind change took it further east and then the wind dropped during the night. All calm in the morning - but thick smoke. Staying inside as much as possible. Still major fires to the east and west. Another wind change expected later to send it our way again. Next three days are expected to be very bad indeed.
